Big Spring Clean - this weekend

A further Big Spring Clean event is taking place on North Tyneside this weekend.

Clean-ups are already due to take place on Saturday 10 May at 10am at Earsdon Cemetery in Whitley Bay and also the Silverlink Biodiversity Park, which is in the centre of Cobalt Business Park, just off the A19.

Now a further community clean-up will take place on Sunday 11 May at 11am on the beach at Whitley Bay. People should meet at the lifeguard station, central lower promenade, opposite Brook Gardens.

The Big Spring Clean, which runs until the end of May, invites people to work with the council and help make the borough a cleaner and greener place to live.
