Vintage buses and train rides return this weekend

Whitley Bay will once again play host to the annual vintage bus rally this Sunday (July 18th). A selection of buses, old and new, will be on display at the Bournemouth Gardens car park on the Links in Whitley Bay. Some of the buses will be offering free seafront rides and other will be providing a free link service to the Stephenson Railway Museum where free train rides will be on offer.

The event is co-organised by North Tyneside Council and the North East Bus Preservation Trust who provide the vintage vehicles. Thanks to the support of Go North East the link to and from the Railway Museum is also free of charge.
